About Tele-Violet

Named after Tennessee Williams’s infamous diva Violet Venable, TELE-VIOLET is a theatre company led by director Katherine Brook that uses dramatic texts as well as real-world content to experiment with acting and dramatic form.

TELE-VIOLET believes in the critical importance of collaboration in the theatre — among, designers, actors, writers, dramaturges, composers — and on some projects the role of lead artist is shared. Current work-in-progress, The Power of Emotion, by Katherine Brook + Shonni Enelow / TELE-VIOLET, is an example of this sort of collaboration.
